Hi! My name is Katie Murray, owner of KM Hair Studio! I’m a native of Great Bridge. My parents still live in the house I grew up in! So, it’s safe to say the 757 is my home. After high school, I attended JMU and graduated in 2014 with one thing on my brain... HAIR! I moved back to Chesapeake, immediately enrolled in Cosmetology school and the rest is history. Extensions, custom lived in blondes/brunettes, coppers/reds and creative coloring are my specialties. I LIVE for big transformations and making people feel their absolute best. While in my chair, you will always get a thorough consultation, professional recommendations, and a few laughs! Outside of the salon, most of the time you can find me hanging out with my husband and my cats. Some of my hobbies I enjoy are singing, finding a good sauv blanc or rosè at a winery, going to concerts, and adding plants to my collection. CANCELLATION POLICY
I charge a 50% cancellation fee for any no shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment. I charge 100% of the service for same day cancellations or no shows. There is a 10 minute grace period for ALL services. After 10 minutes, a $25 fee is automatically applied to your service. In some cases, after 10 minutes, you will be asked to reschedule and charged 100% of the service.
